    EA Sports said it was an “honest mistake” and miscommunication over taking Kaepernick out of the Madden 19 soundtrack.

    Alas, though that was a lie because they did the same thing in 2018.

    They just thought no one would notice this year like they didn’t notice last year. Instead of just being honest, they have tried to cover it up, but it didn’t work.

    oh no. I just looked into it. it’s worse than that. Last year New Hampshire Democrats backed by anti-sexual abuse groups tried to raise the marriage age to 18 FROM THIRTEEN and though the bill had unanimous backing from the House child law committee, it was toppled after a last-minute push from a handful of Republican representatives. 

    This law is a compromise, an attempt by people to do something right away, because the suspension of the previous bill means it can’t be reintroduced for two years. That bill was suspended by a vote of 179-168.

    Unfuckingbelievable 

    So “family values” Republicans blocked a law that would have prevented what is essentially legalized child rape?
